Dr. Martyn has four wonderful children with his wife, Michelle. Along with being a devoted father, he spends his time trail running, mountain biking, fishing, bowhunting, or backpacking.

Dr. Martyn is a Special Operations combat veteran who’s served over several deployments as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Inspired by his military background and a desire to help people recover their mobility after injury, he pursued a career in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Martyn has specialized training in minimally invasive spinal surgery, microsurgery, and motion preservation surgery.
