What is a Physiatrist?

Physiatrists focus on improving patients’ quality of life by helping them become as functional and pain-free as possible.

Physician Assistants practice medicine on healthcare teams under the supervision of a doctor. Duties can include examining patients, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment and care plans, counseling patients, and writing prescriptions, as well as assisting surgeons in the operating room.
